Hey Shorty,
Our dog is very mischievous, I'm concerned that
he'll hurt himself and I won't know what to do. Do you have any
suggestions of how I can prepare?

Dear Concerned Puppy Mom,
You may want to consider taking a Pet First Aid class.
The American Red Cross offers a class that lasts about four hours and is a
combination of lecture, discussion, video presentation and live
demonstration.
The class covers what actions to take in an emergency,
including CPR and controlling bleeding as well as how to recognize an emergency.
Your local chapter of the Red Cross can be located at
Redcross.org.
I think if you arm yourself with that knowledge and the
First Aid Supplies
you may need; you will feel calmer when and if you are faced
with an emergency.
If you cannot make it to a class I recommend these
